Great post! I think most people are naturally creative and entrepreneurial. The goal should be to live in alignment with these innate traits.

Thank you, Joe! 100% life is too short to choose otherwise

"When people say “I can’t wait to retire,” what they really mean is “I want to do things on my own terms” or “I want to wake up each day and spend my time on things that interest me.” Look, when you think about it that way, this is not something that needs to wait until you’re 60 years old to achieve."

That was really good!

Thank you for the feedback, Mike! A perspective shift for sure.

I agree, I don’t think most people want to retire. They want to do something that interests them and pays the bills. I am sure everyone who read this article would be happy to work in The Bitcoin space for the rest of their career. I also find that joining local community groups brightens up the week. I have mountain bike club twice a week and Bitcoin meetup at least once a month.

Nice! Yes totally agree. Meaningful work + meaningful community/groups is a life well lived.

i’m 60y old man, in my working history, i was only able to find jobs that were in my interests and then i found some good jobs that correspond with my current hobbies and i was very lucky to find them!

after my military training for 6 months i started working for a short period as service in a small bar, but after that, it was only for making money for my hobbies and investing into the next job i wanted (hobby = photography) i got a job by Kodak- professional Services and so on…

and for now i’m pensionist and my lifelong love was music and i love to listen to my favorite 12' albums and songs mix it with my pioneer & Denon setup for me and my friends and it’s always amazing!

but for now 20thies and 30thies isn’t the best time to do so because there’s still an annoying future for the younger generations!

Sounds like a life well lived, Robert! thanks for sharing a bit about your story. You deserve to be enjoying your retirement & music! And definitely my point was to address the 'retirement daydream' mindset so prevalent with 20s/30s, nothing wrong with retiring, but shouldn't be the end game for someone who has decades of life to live.

i’m with you and i hope for the younger generation to understand how they can make a better version of the game and make also their goals! ! a nice weekend @Jackson 👋
